When will my order ship?
Each Luh Duckie piece is thoughtfully handmade and carefully prepared before shipment. Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days, unless otherwise noted on the product page. Items marked Made to Order (MTO) may require additional processing time.
Processing times may vary during peak seasons or limited releases. Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking details and the option to protect your shipment with Route for added peace of mind.
Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States.
At this time, international shipping is not available. Any updates to our shipping destinations will be shared on our website.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on your location and order size. Free shipping is available on U.S. orders of $150 or more. All available shipping options and costs will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
Will I receive tracking information?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information
How long will delivery take?
Delivery times vary based on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout. All shipping services are provided by USPS, and transit times are estimates provided by the carrier.
Please note that delivery time begins after your order has shipped and does not include processing time. Carrier transit times may be affected by weather, holidays, or other shipping delays beyond our control.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Please review your shipping address carefully before completing your purchase. If you need to request an address change, contact us as soon as possible.
Once an order has been processed or shipped, we’re unable to make changes to the delivery address.

Can I ship an order as a gift?
Yes. Orders can be shipped directly to your gift recipient. You may include a gift note during checkout, and pricing is never included in gift shipments.
What happens if my package is delayed or lost?
Once your order ships, delivery is handled by the carrier. If your package appears delayed, we recommend first checking the tracking information included in your shipping confirmation email.
For added peace of mind, we offer optional Route package protection at checkout. If Route protection is selected, claims for lost, stolen, or damaged packages can be filed directly through Route.

Are your items handmade?
Yes. All Luh Duckie pieces are thoughtfully handmade in small batches. Each item is individually cut, sewn, and finished by using professional sewing equipment. Natural variations may occur, reflecting the unique character of handmade work. allowing for natural variations that reflect the handmade nature of our work.
Are items one of a kind or limited?
Many Luh Duckie pieces are one of a kind or produced in very small batches. Because we work with thoughtfully sourced and upcycled materials, exact fabrics and colorways may not be repeated once they are gone.
Do you offer custom or made-to-order?
Yes — custom and made-to-order work is offered through our Services.
Services such as Make-Do to Make-New allow us to thoughtfully reimagine existing garments or materials into new pieces within our design offerings. Availability and scope vary by project, and all custom work begins through the Services menu.
Can I add a gift note or gift wrap to my order?
Absolutely. Our standard packaging is already thoughtfully prepared and gift-worthy.
Gift note: Branded blank note cards are included with all orders. If you’d like us to include a message, add Gift Wrap and write your note in the Message box on that product page.
Gift wrap: Add Gift Wrap – Exterior Wrap & Ribbon to have your branded box wrapped in kraft paper and finished with a ribbon—ready to gift upon arrival. Ribbon color may vary based on availability.
Notes may be presented in a coordinating envelope and may be finished with a wax seal when available.

Because each piece is thoughtfully made, proper care and fit help ensure it lasts.
How should I care for my item?
Our pieces are best cared for with gentle handling. We recommend spot cleaning when possible or hand washing in cold water with mild detergent. Lay flat to dry. Avoid heat, bleach, or harsh agitation, as these can affect the shape, stitching, and materials.
How do I choose the correct size?
Sizing details and fit guidance are listed on each product page. Please refer to the specific measurements provided to select the best fit for your baby or pet.
What if my baby or pet is between sizes?
When in doubt, we generally recommend sizing up for comfort. A slightly roomier fit allows for movement and growth while maintaining ease of wear.
Will sizing vary between styles?
Yes. Because our designs vary by style, fabric, and construction, fit may differ slightly from piece to piece. Always reference the individual product listing for the most accurate sizing information.
Are your items adjustable?
Many styles include adjustable features such as ties, elastic, or flexible construction. Refer to the product description to confirm adjustability for a specific item.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because our items are thoughtfully handmade in small batches, we do not accept returns or offer refunds to the original form of payment.
However, we do offer exchanges on eligible items within 7 days of delivery, provided the item is unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.

Which items are final sale?
Items marked Final Sale on the product page are not eligible for return or exchange. This includes select sale items, limited releases, or items explicitly noted as final sale at the time of purchase.

How do I start a return or exchange?
To request an exchange, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and the item you’d like to exchange.
Items must be returned in original condition — unworn, unwashed, and free from damage or odors. We’re happy to offer exchanges, including size exchanges, when the fit isn’t quite right. All exchanges are subject to availability, as each item is produced in limited quantities.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect.

When will I receive my refund?
At this time, we do not offer refunds to the original form of payment. Approved exchanges will be processed once the original item has been received and inspected.

Are shipping costs refundable?
Shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping on approved exchanges unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect.
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect
If your item arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist.
If the issue is related to shipping damage, loss, or theft and Route package protection was selected at checkout, claims can be filed directly through Route. If the issue is due to a fulfillment or production error on our end, we’ll work with you to provide a replacement if available or an appropriate resolution.

Fabrics
We primarily use pre-loved and rescued textiles for outer shells and visible design elements whenever possible. For linings, structural components, and areas where comfort, durability, or safety matter most, we thoughtfully incorporate newly sourced materials. This balanced approach allows us to reduce waste while ensuring each piece is comfortable, functional, and made to last.
Packaging
All Luh Duckie packaging is designed and assembled in-house with care and intention. We prioritize paper-based materials, minimal plastic use, and small-batch presentation that reflects the handmade nature of our products. While not every element is recyclable, we focus on thoughtful sourcing, low-waste process, and packaging that feels personal rather than mass-produced.

Restock Philosophy
Not every design is meant to be permanent. Many items are produced in limited quantities, and once they’re gone, they may not return.
Seasonal Items
Seasonal collections are released in small batches and may not be restocked. This allows us to experiment creatively while staying mindful of production

How do I care for my Luh♥︎duckie items?
Due to the use of varied fabrics and small-batch sourcing, care instructions can differ from itm to item. Each Luh Duckie piece includes specific care instructions provided with your purchase to help extend the life of your item❤️
Sizing
What size should I order?
Luh♥︎duckie bonnets should ideally fit snugly to baby's head, with their ears covered and minimal gaping around the face.
Our bonnets generally fit true to age size, though we recommend measuring your duckling's head circumference to find the best fit. They also tend to fit best toward the end of the age range for that size, as they are intended to fit a child up to the age listed. For example, a 6-12 month bonnet is intended to fit a child up to 12-months and will usually fit best toward the 12-month mark.

Safety
Are there safety considerations that I should know about bonnet or bow wearing?
Bonnets and bows are intended to be worn under direct supervision only.
Do not leave baby or pal unattended, sleeping or awake, with their bonnets or bows.
Shipping & Returns
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately, we only ship throughout the continental US. Subscribe to our email newsletter and we will notify you once we expand our shipping zones.
What is your return policy?
I think my piece has a defect. What should I do?
- Our products are made using upcycled, high-quality, natural textiles. Please note that due to the nature of these materials, some variations in the fabric may occur. Variations in color, weave, texture, and natural markings should not be considered defects.
We do our best to ensure every product that leaves our studio is of the highest quality and free from defects. However, occasionally mistakes do happen! Please refer to our refund policy for more details.
What if my package is lost or stolen?
If you believe your package has been lost or stolen, please contact your local USPS office or carrier, as they are often able to locate the package for you. Please note that Luh♥︎duckie is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been picked up by the carrier.
